Hole Drilling Services for Construction & Equipment Mounting

Auger drilling for construction projects, fence installations and equipment foundations — precise holes, any spec, on your schedule.

Beyond fence lines, plenty of projects need clean, engineered holes in the ground: light pole bases, sign foundations, deck and pavilion piers, equipment anchors, flagpoles and bollards. Red’s Mobile Welding provides hole drilling services across the Fort Worth area for contractors, businesses and homeowners.

We drill diameters from 6 to 24 inches to engineered depths, in soil, clay and rock, and we can complete the foundation too — rebar cages, anchor bolts and concrete placement to your drawings.

Precision You Can Build On

A foundation hole is only as good as its position, plumb and depth. We lay out from your drawings, drill plumb within tolerance, and verify depth and diameter before anyone pours. Anchor bolt patterns are set with templates, not eyeballs — your steel lands where the engineer said it would.

For light commercial work we’re happy to coordinate with your engineer or provide standard details for common structures like carports and pavilions.

One Call, Whole Foundation

Because Red’s is a welding and fabrication company, we handle the parts most drilling subs won’t: welded rebar cages, custom anchor assemblies, steel columns and baseplates. Drill, cage, pour, and weld the structure to it — one contractor, one warranty, no finger-pointing.

Utility locates through Texas 811 are standard on every project before the auger touches ground.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size holes can you drill?
Standard augers cover 6 to 24 inches in diameter to depths of 8+ feet; larger or deeper requirements can usually be accommodated with the right tooling — tell us your spec when you call.
Can you drill in rock or caliche?
Yes. Rock augers and hydraulic down-pressure handle the caliche and limestone common in our area. True solid-rock coring costs more per hole; we identify it up front and price honestly.
Do you pour concrete too?
Yes — most customers have us complete the foundation: rebar or cages, anchor bolts set to template, and concrete placed and finished. You can also have us drill only; contractors often do.
How much notice do you need?
Small residential jobs can often be scheduled within a few days; production drilling for contractors books about a week out. Emergency and short-notice work is sometimes possible — call and ask.
Are you insured for commercial sites?
Yes. We're licensed and insured, we follow 811 locate procedures on every hole, and we can provide COIs for general contractors and facility managers.
