Home Services Chain Link Fencing

Chain Link Fence Contractor — Fort Worth & Tarrant County

Commercial-grade chain link for security, containment and property boundaries — installed straight, tight and built to spec.

Chain link is still the most cost-effective way to secure a property line, and the difference between a fence that lasts 5 years and one that lasts 30 is entirely in the installation. Red’s Mobile Welding installs commercial-grade chain link with properly set posts, tensioned fabric and welded gate frames across Fort Worth and surrounding communities.

We install galvanized and vinyl-coated systems in residential and commercial heights from 4 to 12 feet, with options like barbed wire, privacy slats, and bottom rail for high-security or animal-containment applications.

Commercial-Grade, Even For Homes

Big-box chain link fails at the details: thin-wall posts, shallow footings and un-tensioned fabric. We install schedule-40 posts in concrete, stretch fabric with come-alongs to proper tension, and tie it off at correct intervals. The fence stays tight and straight for decades.

Because we’re welders first, our gate frames are welded — not clamped — which is why our gates still swing true years after installation.

Options That Fit The Job

9-gauge galvanized fabric is the standard workhorse; vinyl-coated black or green disappears into landscaping; 6-gauge and mini-mesh handle high-security sites. Add privacy slats, windscreen, barbed wire, or a bottom rail depending on what the fence needs to do.

Not sure what spec you need? Tell us what you’re containing or keeping out, and we’ll spec the right system — that’s part of the free estimate.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does chain link fence cost installed?
Residential 4–6 foot chain link in the Fort Worth area typically runs $15–$30 per linear foot installed; commercial-height and security systems with barbed wire run more. Gates are priced separately. Estimates are always free.
What gauge chain link should I use?
9-gauge is the right choice for most homes and businesses. Go 6-gauge for high-abuse or security sites; 11-gauge only makes sense for temporary fencing. We'll spec it based on the fence's actual job.
How long does chain link last in Texas?
Quality galvanized fabric on properly set posts lasts 25–30 years or more. Vinyl-coated fabric lasts similarly and looks better doing it. Installation quality — post depth and fabric tension — is the deciding factor.
Can you add privacy to a chain link fence?
Yes — privacy slats, windscreen fabric, or ivy-friendly designs. Slats add roughly 75–90% visual blockage and hold up well in wind when the framework is properly braced, which ours is.
Do you repair existing chain link fences?
Yes. We replace torn fabric, straighten or reset leaning posts, rebuild gates and add height or barbed wire to existing fences throughout Tarrant and Parker Counties.
